Squirrel Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouts, designed especially for children aged 4 to 6 years old. It's a safe, welcoming, and fun space where young children can begin their Scouting journey through playful learning and adventure.
The 47th are proud to be one of the few groups in Coventry who run a Squirrels section!​
Age: 4 to 6

Meet on a Thursday at the Scout Hut between 18:00 - 19:00
Meeting during normal term times + extra dates (TBC)

Leaders: Matt, Nina, Kate and Phillipa
Young Leaders: Amelia, Nettie, Rachel and Xavier

Cost: Subs are £10 monthly
Uniform
Squirrels uniform consists of a red sweatshirt with your badges sewn on and a Green and White Neckerchief representing the 47th!​

Promise
When being invested into the colony, every Squirrel must make a promise! It's a really easy one to remember - it's a bit easier than the Cubs and the Scouts one!
