Promise
To be invested, every member of the Scout movement has to say a promise - the promise is different for Beavers and Cubs, to make it easier to remember!
The Cub Promise is:
I Promise that I will do my best,
To do my duty to God and to the King,
To help other people,
And to keep the Cub Scout Law

There are different promises for those who are Muslim, Hindu, Buddhists, and for those who don't believe in a faith, which can be found here
